TRANZIT ZONE

Polina Khatsenka is interested in sound environments and electroacoustic music. Her work includes field recordings as well as computer generated and modified sound instruments. Her artworks are based on a wide range of aspects of sound. She captures echoes of human activity and certain activities or of human consciousness and expression through sound which she sometimes accompanies with a visual element or, in her latest work in process called Tranzit Zone, with text. For Gallery 3, she has created a sound composition full of various noises intended for headphones.

Festival Design Ústí

Festival Design Ústí is special event focused on actual design tendencies. The event takes place at Ústí nad Labem House of Arts. Activities as an exhibitin, performances, fashion show, lectures, workshops, discusions will dedicated to the topic of creative industries and new approaches on design fields. The main part of the festival is a group exhibition titled The Graden of Virtues and Vices.

The event takes place under the auspices of Mr. Jiří Řehák, deputy governor of the Ústí Region.
