Workshop
The theme of the workshop - camouflage - is related to the exhibited work entitled "Mimicry ".
In the introductory lecture we will learn about the history of camouflage and its context in the animal world. We will show how the pattern "Mimicry " is created from an interactive video installation in the gallery. And most importantly, you will try to create your own pattern. The workshop will be equipped with many different materials and we will be creating entirely analogue. By layering, you can then design a complex and interesting motif that doesn't have to be just camouflage. There will be room for experimentation, unusual combinations and creative freedom.
We will then try to scan your designs and convert them to digital form, where it will be possible to create colour variations and try different digital modifications.
