Guided tour of the exhibition in Gallery 1 with Kristýna Císařová, founder of DESIGN USTÍ Festival.

Project: wardrobe is the main exhibition of the fourth edition of DESIGN ÚSTÍ Festival and focuses on contemporary fashion and textile design in the context of sustainability, local production and cultural memory of the region.

The exhibition in Gallery 1 of DUÚL will present the work of well-known designers, studios and projects moving between fashion, craft and experimentation. Alongside the finished garments and objects, it will also offer an insight into the process of their creation - from the choice of material and technology to questions of ethics, durability and use. The architectural design of the exhibition works with the principle of the wardrobe as a space of memory, transformation and personal relationship to things.
