11:00 – 15:00
In Ukraine, this simple musical instrument is called "zozulka-kukačka" because it usually has only two or three notes (ku-ku). We have the opportunity to experiment and give the kukacka all the voices, or even create a different singing character. Of course, making music together is welcome during the workshop.
The estimated duration of the workshop is 4 hours.
The workshop is suitable for children and adults and will be led by Liubov Plavska.
In 2008 she graduated from the Department of Design at the University "Ukraine" in Kiev. After fifteen years of working in the field, she started working with ceramic clay in her spare time. She created the brand "Ceramusica", which combines ceramics and sound. In 2021 she joined the ceramics department at the Academy of Arts in Lviv. She completed her Master's degree by distance learning, with a study on the development of the style of Kosovo painted ceramics (from the Ukrainian Carpathian region) and a work conceptually related to this traditional style. At the same time, she started her Master's studies at the UMPRUM in Prague (studio of ceramics and porcelain) and focuses on conceptual and performative ceramics.
